U Aung Ngwe is a Counsel at KGP Legal Myanmar with a distinguished legal career spanning over 50 years. Having begun his career as an educator and instructor at Central Public Service School (Fonggyi), he moved on to work in the legal profession as Legal Officer across various townships in Myanmar. He then served as an Advisor to the Law Department of the Federal Court for five years, before rising through the ranks to sit as a Divisional Judge in various districts including the Sagaing, Irrawaddy and Yangon Divisional Courts. Ngwe presided over some of the most complex legal cases and is familiar with civil proceedings and court procedures in Myanmar. A testament to his service, his tenure was extended seven times before finally retiring from his position as Divisional Judge in 2007. Since then, Ngwe has been serving as a legal advisor to various government bodies and private organizations in Myanmar and the region. He is valued for his extensive legal experience, knowledge and expertise across various industries and sectors, and is adept in finding solutions for clients and their problems.
