Jia Le is an associate with the firm with experience assisting in appellate, civil and commercial disputes as well as white-collar criminal defence.
Jia Le graduated cum laude (with honours) from the Singapore Management University (SMU) Yong Pung How School of Law. Jia Le was also the recipient of the PKWA Law Prize for the Top Student in Family Law and was appointed as a Teaching Assistant for LAW477 – Law & Psychology.
Jia Le was also an active mooter and represented SMU in its debut in the 25th Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition (Stetson, College of Law, Florida, USA) where his team clinched first place in the SEA Regional Rounds and attained a top-eight (quarterfinalist) position in the International Rounds. He also had the privilege of attending a semester on exchange programme with the ESADE Law School (Barcelona, Spain).
During his time in SMU, Jia Le served as the Vice-President of the SMU Law Society and actively volunteered in various legal clinics and community service initiatives. In recognition of his active contributions to SMU and the wider community, Jia Le was conferred the SMU CIRCLE award in 2022.
