Brenda Yik is a corporate and commercial lawyer and a Legal Associate at KGP Legal LLC. She graduated from the National University of Singapore School of Law in 2017 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2019. She started her career in commercial litigation practice and has handled a wide spectrum of local and cross-border commercial disputes before the Supreme Court, State Courts and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) forums prior to transitioning into a full corporate and commercial practice role at KGP Legal LLC.
Her work covers the full spectrum of general corporate and commercial law matters, from mergers and acquisitions and cross-border transactions for international and multi-national companies, including securities and other regulatory and compliance matters as well as the drafting of all kinds of commercial contracts, licensing and distribution arrangements and employment law matters. She handles the portfolio of high-net-worth Chinese national clients and is active in mergers & acquisitions at the firm including conducting due diligence and rendering regulatory advice and opinions to clients.
