We want a pre-nup!

Prenuptial agreements are entered into by parties before marriage to set out how, if the marriage were eventually to be ended, the assets and/or children ought to be handled.

Although not directly enforceable under Singapore law, the Court will take into account prenuptial agreements as evidence of parties’ intentions before they got married. Perhaps of more importance would be that a prenuptial agreement is also evidence to each other of their intentions.

Our lawyers will be able to advise you on why and how you may wish to discuss a prenuptial agreement before a marriage.

Prices may vary depending on the level of complexity, but the cost of advising and drafting a prenuptial agreement starts from $1,500.
